The Cherohala Skyway is a 43-mile National Scenic Byway running from Tellico Plains, TN to Robbinsville, NC at elevations up to 5,390 feet. It's a high-altitude parkway with long flowing curves, sweeping elevation changes, and almost no traffic on a weekday morning. It's the road that ends most debates about which Tennessee mountain road is second-best after the Dragon.

The reason direct booking matters here: Turo's platform is built for casual communication. From Tellico Plains, you can connect to the Dragon by heading south into Robbinsville and picking up US-129 North. That loop, Cherohala to Dragon to Foothills Parkway back toward TYS, is one of the best driving days in the eastern US.
