Turo Pigeon Forge — 40 minutes from TYS to Dollywood.

Pigeon Forge is a destination with a split audience: families with kids doing Dollywood and the Smokies, and adults who pair the resort strip with the mountain roads east and south of town.

Families want space, comfort, and easy loading. The Honda Odyssey is the default. Power doors, second-row fold-flat, and enough room for Dollywood haul. The NV Passenger is the step up if your group is larger or you've got gear from an outdoor stop.

Adults going for the roads want something that makes the Foothills Parkway or the Dragon feel like the point of the trip. The Supra, the BRZ, or the WRX STI. Those guests usually have specific questions about the car — and those questions go through a direct booking faster than Turo's messaging system.

Dollywood's parking lot can handle any vehicle in our fleet. The NV Passenger is a full-size van but fits designated oversized spots. The Odyssey has no issues. Dollywood opens its parking before park hours, so picking up your car the evening before (or at TYS after landing) and arriving at the park before the gates open is the proven move for avoiding queues.

If you're pairing Dollywood with a Smokies day, plan which direction you exit. East toward Gatlinburg opens up the Newfound Gap route to Clingman's Dome. South from Sevierville connects to US-129 and the Dragon in about an hour.

TYS to Pigeon Forge is a clean run up US-441. Pick up the car in Economy Lot C, Section Orange 1 — five minutes from baggage claim — and you're at Dollywood Lane in 40 minutes. No traffic routing required if you arrive mid-morning or after 7pm.

Alternatively, our Maryville pickup is 35 minutes from Pigeon Forge via US-321. For guests not flying in, the Maryville pickup eliminates the airport detour entirely.
