Car rental for Sevierville and the Smokies corridor

Sevierville is the first city on the Smokies tourism corridor from Knoxville. The US-441 strip from Sevierville through Pigeon Forge to Gatlinburg is about 18 miles of tourist infrastructure (outlet malls, restaurants, attractions). Sevierville itself is slightly quieter than Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, which makes it a practical base for guests who want Smokies access without being directly in the tourist strip.

From Sevierville, Cades Cove is about 55 minutes via the Townsend route, significantly faster than trying to cut through Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. For Cades Cove and the quieter western Smokies, using US-321 to Townsend from Sevierville is the logical approach.

For Dollywood: 12 miles from Sevierville to Dollywood's entrance in Pigeon Forge, about 15–20 minutes depending on strip traffic.

TYS (McGhee Tyson Airport in Alcoa) is the commercial airport serving Sevierville. Most guests flying in pick up at TYS via our contactless lockbox at TYS, then drive US-411 north through Maryville toward Knoxville, then US-441 toward Sevierville.

The US-441 corridor from Knoxville to Sevierville is direct and well-traveled. The downtown Sevierville exit (Hwy 66/Airport Road) puts you at the main strip in about 55 minutes from TYS.
