East Tennessee // Honest gap
We don't rent the Cybertruck. Nobody in East TN does regularly.
The Cybertruck is a polarizing, expensive, limited-production electric truck. If you need one in East Tennessee, Turo is the only path — and expect limited availability.

You searched for Tesla Cybertruck
We don't rent that. Try the 2013 Toyota FJ Cruiser Trail Teams.
The Tesla Cybertruck and the Toyota FJ Cruiser have almost nothing in common except both being capable vehicles on unpaved surfaces. The Cybertruck is a stainless-steel electric pickup truck with performance EV characteristics (instant torque, massive towing capacity, air suspension). The FJ Cruiser is a conventional ICE body-on-frame 4WD SUV. We're pairing them only because both answer the 'rugged/capable vehicle for East Tennessee' brief — and the FJ is what we have. If the Cybertruck's electric truck format, appearance, or media cache is the appeal, the FJ Cruiser is a completely different vehicle.

Honest: there's no Cybertruck substitute
The Cybertruck is a unique vehicle in a class that doesn't really have a competitor — stainless steel exoskeleton, electric motors producing instant torque, air suspension with adjustable ride height, and the visual presence of a vehicle from a different decade entirely. We're not going to dress up the FJ Cruiser as a Cybertruck substitute beyond the basic 'rugged capable vehicle for East Tennessee' brief.
If the Cybertruck specifically is what you need — for the appearance, the electric performance, the truck bed, or any other reason — Turo is the only realistic path in East Tennessee. Cybertruck Turo listings are extremely rare nationally; Knoxville specifically has almost none. Patience and advance booking are required.
Frequently asked questions
Is there a Cybertruck on Turo in East Tennessee?
Very rarely — Cybertruck Turo listings are extremely uncommon even in major cities. Knoxville specifically has almost no consistent Cybertruck availability. Nashville and Atlanta are more likely markets.
What is the FJ Cruiser like to drive?
Body-on-frame Toyota SUV — tall, upright, capable, classic. 4.0L V6, automatic, 4WD with low range. A very different experience from the Cybertruck's instant-torque electric delivery.
Is the Cybertruck practical for the Smokies?
Theoretically yes — air suspension and all-motor AWD handle varied terrain well. Practically, the Cybertruck's size (longer than an F-250) is a challenge on narrow Cades Cove sections and tight forest service parking areas.
What Tesla products do you rent?
We don't have any Tesla vehicles in our current fleet. For Tesla rentals in East Tennessee, check Turo.
Can the FJ Cruiser be used for camping?
Yes — the FJ's rear cargo area with seats folded fits camping gear for a two-person trip. The Trail Teams' trail capability handles forest campsite access.
Can I pick this up if I'm staying in Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge?
Yes. Our pickup is near TYS in Maryville/Alcoa. From Gatlinburg it's about 50 minutes; from Pigeon Forge or Sevierville it's 40–45 minutes.
